This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

After 11 consecutive winning weeks which got me back in the green, I'm not put with my feet back on the ground with a limited losing week after getting a bit overly confident. I was comfortable taking the risk of having a full unit bet spread between different options on Stvv +0.75 as in the past weeks there turned out to be some spots where the market was just completely wrong. However, I did neglect the danger of the matchup which turned out to be key and the reason stvv lost with a 4-1 score. I did have some good bets also and a couple that turned out to be coinfips.

So basically, I'm now back to square one being just slightly under one the season coming of a hot streak managing to slowly but surely get myself out of a big hole. So the conclusion is that I'm still profitable (since the way down was with bigger stakes compared to the way up). So from here on out there are 6 weeks left in the regular league and the playoffs and I just continue grinding cautiously instead of being more adventurous. The goal remains to mainly avoid a big losing season and I'm not willing to take the extra risk to get to the point where I'm around the expected profit near the end of the season.

If anything the big losing bet came at a good time.

I had one winner which was not undeserved but could have easily been half a loss and a clear loser last weekend which made it around an break even on the pre-game bold bets in the previews.

I'm back slightly in the red bit looking at the chart, the expected pink profit line actually isn't that far off. I had a little less volume compared to the past weeks and I'm thinking of just getting my stakes closer to 0.4 units flat.
