This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

I managed to continue the positive momentum and picked up a lot of confidence this week as I was spot on with some of the bets that ended up winning. Overall there was a solid +1.428 units of profit on the week which is bringing me closer to break even in a season that at one point looked like it was going to be my first ever losing one. The market also seems to be way more reasonable in the lines that are offered while early on it just always felt impossible not to just take coin flips or be one the wrong side.

So overall things are back to my normal winning ways and I aim to continue this increasing my stakes a bit along the way. The frustrating thing however is that the losses were done with much higher stakes in general as I'm forcing myself to remain cautios and have good bankroll management. most bettors do it the other way around increasing stakes which eventually will get them wiped out sooner than later.

Pre-Game Preview Bets Season 2023-2024

I ended up having 4 highlighted bets in the previews with good confidence of which 3 ended up winning all at 2.0+ odds and one pushed for over 3 units profit. This doesn't only put me back at a profit this season, it also does it above 7% ROI !! If anything it shows that moving up and down in stakes with an eye to grow over time in the short term can be a negative thing while those who just are able to flat bet generally do better. Regular Season 2023-2024 Personal Betting Chart

I'm not quite there yet but I'm surely getting closed and the gap between break-even and the pink expected profit line is not that big. However, I could easily get in a losing streak again so everything still has to play out. Likely sooner than later, a losing week will come along the way and I would be happy if I would keep damage limited on that.
