This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.

The last week didn't really play out how I hoped and anticipated it would despite being quite confident and it's nice to have matches where stakes are high. I was quite sure that I would at least make around 0.5 units on the weekend but these times when confidence is high also tend to be the most dangerous which showed.

The final 2 matches with 3 teams that were still able to become champion and 1 team with nothing to play for and their fans who wanted to see them lose so their big rival wasn't champion unless they won had a scenario nobody could have written. 3 Different teams in the final 10 minutes were champion with the 2-2 in minute 94' for Antwerp giving they the trophy as Club Brugge won against Union also because Genk looked to be the champion.

Overall I still feel I managed to get in a lot of good positions which had a lot of closing value balancing the risk. The corners however is where thing went wrong as wort case scenario of Union scoring right after Half Time happend which left my Corner bet on them in a difficult spot. I didn't mind the highe stake as I also had a big interest in Union winning and both losing was rather unlikely yet it still happened.

So overall in the last week a -1 unit loss which overall is a limited damage I would say even though it sucks to end the season this way.

Pre-Game Preview Bets Season 2022-2023

I had just 1 official bet in the last week on Union -0.5 @ 2.254 which closed at around 1.66 odds while I already covered part of my stake. However, despite Union taking the lead they were unable to keep is as Club Brugge didn't hold back assuming Genk would be champion as they were winning which flipped in the 94th minute making the Club Brugge fans furious.

So the playoff ended with a bummer but it once again showed how much volume is needed to actually make any kind of conclusion. Just 1 bet which was a loser but could have won would have made all bets profitable around the expected profit range and this over a sample of 143 bets. Overall I did a solid +11.15 units profit over 1598 bets with a total stake of 236.716 units. This is just an average stake of around 0.15 units which I aim to get up a lot next season but at the same time a really solid ROI of 4.71% which I would sign for in any given season
