Should I Leave Or Stay On Hive?
Never mind the question above. It's a question I had once asked myself repeatedly some months back when I was not seeing the reasons for being here on Hive. I was just writing and posting, without visiting or engaging. I was fed up and could not be bothered to move on.
So many newbies who came in have left just because of less engagement. They could not understand what it would take them to be on Hive. Some rushed in and left, while some came in and tried to make out something, but were unable to read others' posts to see what they have been doing wrong and so left without making an impact. Those with good ideas are also left with what they have to offer just because of a lack of understanding. At the time, I had almost joined those absconding, but I was patient enough to rediscover my path here.
I have brought some users here but could not stay to know how Hive works, instead ran away. I had to tell them that running away is not the issue, but waiting to do what is necessary is paramount. After talking to them seriously about Hive and giving them a nice orientation, they decided to come back and started mingling with the system.
I later opened up and started moving around the communities here on Hive just to know what and how to go about it. This was when I discovered some facts that I was not putting in place.

No importa la pregunta anterior. Es una pregunta que una vez me hice repetidamente hace algunos meses cuando no veía las razones para estar aquí en Hive. Solo estaba escribiendo y publicando, sin visitar ni participar. Estaba harto y no podía molestarme en seguir adelante.

Engaging with others;
This is the most paramount in the hive ecosystem. To make your Hive journey solid, never see the spirit of engaging with others as a waste of time. Those you have engaged with may come up to follow you or would pay a visit to some of your posts.
Most Hivers lack this fact. Hive is not just a write-and-dump platform, but a place where we have the chance to interact, purge our minds, share ideas, learn, teach, and the like.
I had once fallen into this category of ignoring engagement. This made me tired of Hive. I had these questions.
I kept on asking myself
"How did others get to where they are today? Yes, they got to where they are today not just by writing and dumping, but making others see the reason for being on Hive. When you are in a community, you just need to make an impact so that you can have the mind of knowing people and people would also know you. Let people know you're worth it. Let them know how you can help and how you can impact your little quota just to bring progress to such a community.
So, to me, others got to where they are today just because of their little or vast contribution towards Hive.
Do we have different ways of writing? Of course, we write differently, which depends on the topic of discussion. We may even be writing about the same topic, but different points of view. To me, insofar as you are writing something that can bring success to someone or something that can make this platform progress, then you have no issues being here.
Do you know that your write-up can change someone? It can make someone rich and can even make people who are suffering learn how to make it in life. Inspirational talk and the like, as well as cryptos, can always be in your mind. How you make your day bright, how you prepare food, how you celebrate anything (many people may not know how to celebrate, but the impact of bringing in celebration into the platform can make that person hunger for celebration). So bring in any forms of ideas you have to Hive, provided it is not what Hive detests.
Can I be able to make it as others are making it? This is where engagement comes in. Moving around posts just to make someone feel happy, in return, you will also feel better. Others do not have seven heads but have the same head as you have. So, you can make it big as others are making it, only if you find it possible to communicate with the system. Commenting is the mother of the day and if you fail to do so, you will get tired of Hive.
Quality But Not Quantity:
Bringing in quality is the best instead of what does not match up to standard.
Is it necessary for me to post anything? Any idea shared here on Hive is welcome provided it is quality. Quality but not quantity is needed mostly here on Hive. Hive detests plagiarism, as so many writers want to bring in what does not belong to them. I had once fallen into this category. I used a song to write a poem in which the end was captured. This was when Hive was still steemit. I tried to apologize to the hive watchers and fortunately, I was pardoned. I vowed never to try this again. So, you must mind the kind of write-up you bring in here.
Image sourcing:
We have sites which we can download images from. Some of these are free, while some of them are not free. Those that are free, if you get to download images from them, must be sourced. Of course, it would not sound so good if you see your word somewhere without you being mentioned. This is how it is. So, sourcing your image is better here on Hive and when you fail to do so, hive will fail you. It may be your image or the one you captured one way or the other. These must be sourced no matter what. Tell them the image(s) used is/are your property(ies).
Making your heading and write-up look catchy.
You cannot just write without thinking of what to write. You can only pick up your writing materials and jolt down the topic to write on. They go through the points one after the other. Developing the points would do you so well. Making your write-up catchy, and especially, the topic would bring more writers to your blog.
Sporadically, the brain would be out of ideas. At this point, just go to Hive and start engaging with other writers. This is what I do to bring writing topics to my doorstep. When you engage, you would be able to see enough writing topics to write on. Sometimes, most communities have their respective writing weekly prompt.
These are the few points that kept me alive right here on Hive. I would have left Hive if not for some Hivers right here who deem it fit to tell me the truth about Hive. They made me understand that there are benefits I'm engaging with other writers.
So, I use this medium to advise the newbies who seem tired of this platform to start their journey with engagement. When you do this, you will find Hive so much fun.

Cuando te involucras, podrás ver suficientes temas de escritura para escribir. A veces, la mayoría de las comunidades tienen su respectivo mensaje semanal de escritura.
Estos son los pocos puntos que me mantuvieron vivo aquí en Hive. Habría dejado Hive si no fuera por algunos Hivers aquí mismo que consideran apropiado decirme la verdad sobre Hive. Me hicieron entender que hay beneficios que estoy involucrando con otros escritores.
Por lo tanto, utilizo este medio para aconsejar a los novatos que parecen cansados de esta plataforma que comiencen su viaje con compromiso. Cuando hagas esto, encontrarás a Hive muy divertido.

Hola bueno yo no me hago esa pregunta pero tampoco pienso en retirarme pero si me tomo unos dias de descanso en no publicar y luego regreso.
Estar aqui me ha servido mucho de como entretener mi mente después de que me jubile, porque uno piensa en que mas vas hacer después de jubilados, esta es una maravillosa opción ya que eres tu propio jefe, creas tu propio horario y decides cuando hacerlo.
Asi que no lo pienses en retirarte ja ja y si hay que socializar para avanzar
