A mid morning run to help me get things done!

I've discovered a pattern. When I'm blocked up in my guts then I'm blocked up in my thinking. So when my morning breakfast and later my morning coffee had failed to produce the result I wanted and I still felt blocked as sh*t (haha, nice unintended pun there!) then I thought I'd get my day working better by heading out for a run.

While I was out, in the bush, on my own, I was mostly focused on how I was feeling. Still, I managed to see a lovely dog, fellow humans out walking, at least one butterfly, lots of muddy trails and swollen creeks (due to all the rain the last day or so) and two kookaburras sitting on a fence, watching life go by (or looking for food, more like it!)

Thankfully, all that movement did the trick. When in doubt, usually fibre and/or water and/or exercise gets the digestive system moving and working again the way it was intended. And yes, I feel better because now I can think better again!

Hahaha! Beware, running as a laxative is both a blessing and a curse. Just don't run to far away from a clean bathroom. Trust me, I know from experience.

That doesn't sound fun! I have done this before and come to the same realisation: don't run too far from home or run a route that has several toilets along the way.
