Are you mining for Hive Bits?

I'm super new to Hive and crypto and I'm learning a lot by simply watching and playing, and--with an open mind--trying new things.

One of the things I'm far from understanding but willing to learn more about is the creation of new currency or tokens or coins, or means of exchange.

One of these that came across my desk (or should I say page? or maybe computer screen?) was Hive Bits. Created by CR, the creator of the LUV tokens, hivebits is different to other tokens I regularly use where I gift them to other people. Hivebits sees you gifting them to yourself. That's the way CR is creating this coin, token, thing.

While I may be using all the wrong terminology here, I'm curious if others here in Leo Finance are also mining hivebits on a daily or somewhat regular basis?

I'm so new I don't even know if I'm offending people by choosing to share this in the LeoFinance community when I think you have your own Leo token...

But, since this space is about finance and crypto and the like, it was my best guess as a newbie.

Please allow me to apologise if I should have posted somewhere else. Please correct me gently (open to feedback, just not scolding :P). And please feel free to use this post to mine hivebits in the comments for yourself if you wish. (Just use the command !hivebits and you'll get one per day). Or, you could create your own post to do just that ;)

I haven't heard anything about hive bits but it would be cool to learn more about it.

Hi there and I appreciate the write-up. One of the reasons I did this is for the simplicity of getting new people involved. To get the tokens, you just reply with the !hivebits command. It shows up in your Hive-Engine wallet. Then, you can do whatever with it you wish. A newcomer might wish to sell or buy on the market as practice. !LUV

Well, this one didn't work because it was in response to the hivebits account itself (needs to be any other account). https://peakd.com/@hivebits.mine is the official HBIT mine, but any account except hivebits will work.
