Cómo ya les había comentado en un post atrás, adquirimos la pintura para nuestra habitación pagada con #hbd 👏. También les había dicho que hacía un buen rato no pintábamos en nuestra casa por falta de presupuesto.
As I had already told you in a previous post, we bought the paint for our room paid with #hbd 👏. I had also told you that we hadn't painted our house for a while due to lack of budget.
Llegó la hora de hacerlo y más aún con la grieta que sufrió una de nuestras paredes con respecto a la del vecino, debido a los fuertes mandarriazos que daban al hacer sus trabajos de reconstrucción en su casa. Cabe resaltar que el vecino no tiene culpa alguna de lo sucedido; debido a que existe un gran problema de estructura en nuestra casa; ya que es una construcción mal hecha sobre bases no solidas, pero eso es otro tema que luego les contaré.
It was time to do it, and even more so with the crack that one of our walls suffered with respect to the neighbor's, due to the strong mandarriazos that gave to do their reconstruction work on his house. It should be noted that the neighbor is not to blame for what happened, because there is a big problem of structure in our house, as it is a poorly built on not solid foundations, but that is another topic that I will tell you later.
El tema es que dicha grieta había que resolverla antes de pintar el cuarto, para lo cual decidí poner manos a la obra y terminar dándole otra vista a nuestra habitación al igual que colocando otros detalles que no los teníamos; ¡les mostraré!
The thing is that this crack had to be solved before painting the room, so I decided to get to work and end up giving another view to our room as well as placing other details that we didn't have; I'll show you!
Materiales
- 1/4 de kilo de cemento
- 2 tazas de agua
- 1 espátula pequeña
- 1 pedazo de lija
- 1/4 kilo of cement
- 2 cups of water
- 1 small spatula
- 1 piece of sandpaper
Primero, preparamos la mezcla de cemento y agua ya que no disponía de pasta profesional que es lo más adecuado para este tipo de trabajos.
Para comenzar el trabajo le pasé una espátula pequeña a la grieta para descubrir más la fisura y que el cemento no fuera a caerse con el pasar del tiempo.
To begin with, I ran a small spatula over the crack to uncover more of the crack so that the cement would not fall out over time.
Luego pasamos a ir aplicando la mezcla con la ayuda de la espatula hasta cubrir toda la grieta.
Then apply the mixture with the help of the spatula until the entire crack is covered.
Una vez que se ha secado la mezcla, yo la deje por alrededor de 12 horas; procedo a pasarle la lija para retirar imperfecciones y verificar que haya quedado bien cubierta la grita y así darle un mejor acabado a la pared. Para luego pintar toda la habitación; es por ello que pinté primero sobre la grieta ya reparada para que fuera absorbiendo la pintura y quedara uniforme.
Once the mixture has dried, I left it for about 12 hours; I proceed to pass the sandpaper to remove imperfections and verify that the crack has been well covered and thus give a better finish to the wall. To then paint the whole room; that is why I painted first on the crack already repaired so that it would absorb the paint and it would be uniform.
Luego de haber pintado toda la habitación procedí a cambiar la mesa de noche que teníamos, por 2 repisas flotantes de estilo minimalistas, las cuales están muy de moda y nos gustó para nuestra habitación; al igual que la instalacion de la base del control del aire acondicionado.
After painting the entire room I proceeded to change the nightstand we had for 2 floating shelves of minimalist style, which are very fashionable and we liked for our room; as well as the installation of the base of the air conditioning control.
