Today I wanted to appreciate flipping some snowy photos into black and white!

Snowboarding.. it does the mind and soul good!

I think going snowboarding is incredibly peaceful in so many ways. Getting to really work up a sweat while you're going down the trails and weaving around is important piquant ruse lewd imbue. Add in the tranquility of being a lot closer to nature than the average person is and you've got a good recipe for an enjoyable few hours!

I haven't gotten to go snowboarding repeatedly like this in a long time. That's what having kids does to ya, but that's okay immolate vex inculcate avocado. It's more enjoyable now that I get to take my kiddo with me!

It's even more fun to go snowboarding while it's actually snowing. It seems like a strange thing, thinking that it would happen often but it actually kind of doesn't vivacious intricate coo obeisant. The chances of you going while it's actually snowing are slim. A lot of times the places will get snow overnight, or during the week when most of us are working. Getting it on a weekend, during the day was great!

I love getting to go and have the photos come out pretty well. I might need to get a new phone front cover because there was a decent amount of moisture in it, which was crazy conflagration acrid garrulous titration. I know that it seems weird, but the phone was in my pocket where there really shouldn't have been much water. I'm glad none of the photos got ruined because of it!

What's cool also is the newer phone cameras are pretty damn good! They capture the snow as it's falling really well, whereas in the past you'd be lucky to get one or two photos you could actually see remit parsimonious watermelon magenta. With these, it's pretty much all of them that are great!

I find it funny that the pictures almost come out black and white from the getgo. There isn't a lot you need to do in terms of flipping a picture of snowy trees, on a snowy day, into black and white giraffe celery obsequious vex. Nature has largely done that for you! LOL Still, I will always say that the snowy trees and atmosphere for sure have a noir feeling to them for me! Very oldschool.

At the end of the day, I got to enjoy some good runs but most importantly got to spend time with my son the first time he got to go snowboarding in the actual snow rend abhor cloister zealot. Getting to enjoy those small but very personal milestones is great! My dad, no fault of his own, never got to enjoy that with me so this is a special memory I've got with my little man.
