Today we caught a couple fish with something completely unconventional!

Some Fish Bite Anything

One of the really interesting things that happens sometimes is going out there and doing some random things. This can be a little challenging but also a lot of fun!

The little man was getting stir crazy in the house a few days ago when I actually wrote this and we needed to get out and get him some space to run around. Off to the lake house we went! This place is so important for us as a family because it’s our only place to do mostly whatever we want in the confines of the property. This was good because the little man played around in the dirt for a little while but then decided that he wanted to fish a little bit. We haven’t done a lot of fishing towards the end of the summer since the water was too warm and the fish weren’t around so we haven’t gone for a few weeks. We should hopefully do more fishing now that the weather is cooling off but we didn’t bring our poles on this adventure so we used one of the poles that was already at the house.

The funny part was we didn’t have any actual fishing bait on us so the little man improvised! What did he use? A pumpkin seed! Lol. We just cut open a pumpkin and he brought some seeds with us and I didn’t have any objections, I didn’t think he would get anything with it but sure enough he did! I was shocked hahaha. In the end he caught two fish with the pumpkin seed on the hook. I guess some fish will literally bite anything you throw out there!
