The other day we got some fun visitors while strawberry picking!

Curious Cows

One of our favorite things to do is to go out to the various farms we've come to love and frequent and pick fresh food whenever we can! This time of year it's strawberry season and that's most definitely one of our favorite times of the early summer that's for sure!

We have this farm that's kind of nearby and we started going there last year I think it was and we've enjoyed it since. It's got a really nice open field and expansive piece of land yet it's fairly close to the highway. Standing there, you'd never know!

What we haven't experienced yet were these cows! The farm does have cows but they usually keep them in a different part of the farm, at least all of the times we've been here in the past. Today not so much! These curious critters were right next to the strawberry field and boy were they interested! Lol

I don't know if they haven't seen many people or something but these cows were all wandering over and checking us out! It was kind of surprising and funny to see it.

Of course we had to focus on getting the delicious fresh strawberries though! We were picking our hearts out that's for sure!

I wonder if the cows were more along the lines of a dog begging for food lol they saw us picking and were thinking that they wanted a little nibble or two of a strawberry!

The farmers were hard at work here that's for sure, plowing the field and getting things ready for the summer planting.

There were a considerable amount of strawberry plants all over the place!

Back to those cows though, they were all the typical cow look with the spotted white and black. There was the brown one and I think that one may have been a steer but I didn't get a good look at him.

These animals were a lot of fun to be picking next to. I don't know if I've seen a herd like this, it's usually just one or two cows so maybe that's why they were more curious. The bunch of them figured it was safety in numbers so they were checking us out while being protected!
