It's simpler just to join a curation trail and choose your preferred settings like: delay to cast the vote, the minimum voting power, etc. My alt account has been voting part of curation trails for years and the APR has been around 15%. No delegation or other hassles

Are you sure it gives you still 15%? It’s quite a lot at the present Tines but was feasible long time ago

You're kind of right, I did the math and it comes to around 8% just from curation rewards and 11% if you add the 3% you get just for holding Hive powered up. If it dropped any lower I would have noticed but 11% versus 15% is not that big of a difference in my mind but for others it might be
