I haven't eaten meat for about 3 - 4 years. My wife is vegan. When I just met her she just talked about that with me. And even asked if it's ok for me to not have meat home and to eat it only outside. In the first years after we got married I start eating it less and less. Then I decided to try to not eat if for longer time. I was eating it about once a month, then once in a half year, then only once a year, then I decided to stop eating it at all. And you know with the vegan diet, I feel really well. I have much better digestion, while most of my 30 years I had always troubled with that. Veganism is healing for me. And for those who are not sure that's a good diet for health, I would say that's the wrong veganism is not good, when people eat only vegetables and fruits and beans. The correct one is when we add to that some soy chunks, meat alternatives, olive oil, and many kinds of oils, and of course to learn about all the vitamins we need. I take some B12, OMEGA 3 ( sometimes we eat sea weeds ) and vitamin D. Of course nuts are very important. Juices, and many kinds of milk, oat milk, soy milk, almond milk. Of course eating avocado is so healthy, we use it in the morning to smear bread. And many kinds of butters, like nuts butter, pumpkin seeds butter, sunflower seeds butter, that's in case there is no avocado. Of course adding to all that beans & grains, fruits and vegetables, nuts, .. etc. Maybe seedlings (sprouts) as well. Mushrooms.

I think it's a bit hard to create such diet, but once someone gets used to it, it's good. Maybe we have to eat more often that way. But it's good that we always feel light, and have a better digestion.

I'm glad your vegan life is working out well for you. The most noticeable health impact for me was reduced allergies. I used to suffer from bad hay fever during the spring. Now, I hardly sneeze at all even when the flowers are blooming. My sinusitis is also barely a problem now.
