Bitcoin could be short term investment !
I was reading an article about bitcoin recently, and I thought about the use case of this awesome cryptocurrency !
I love bitcoin, don't get me wrong. I always say that may hit $1 million after a few years. If in 2018 it hit $20k and after 3 years it hits $60k, so after another 3 years it may hit $600k and after another 3 years it may overcome $1 million. That's kind of logical. But it could also do the opposite someday. Even hive maybe worth more than bitcoin, why not. I mean, bitcoin has a lot of cons comparing to many other cryptos. High fees, not that fast transactions, mining controlling it, it consumes a lot of electricity ... etc.
Hive could be even better than Ethereum. Because even Ethereum has the same cons as bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies has. I still don't understand the fees of Ethereum and why that's not paid in ETHs but in something like gas. I know that the community there is huge, I know that they have many applications build on their blockchain. But, really, those fees are really high, and I don't know a lot about the governance. It seems complicated for ordinary people. So, the mass adoption there could face problems.
In hive for example, people have only to sign up, save their keys. Use the posting for posting and curating, use the active for funds, and that's it. We have an easy principle of curation. The ability to create communities. People who may help in all this. Even anyone can create a token on hive-engine if they want. We have cub finance to create DeFi. Many applications as well. Plus, we don't pay any fees for all this. The transactions are instant and we keep improving.
As you see, if we take the use case of hive, it's much more interesting than bitcoin. Maybe bitcoin still the main currency because when people learn about crypto, they learn about it first. Or maybe because all exchanges use bitcoin as the main cryptocurrency to trade with others. Or maybe people just don't know yet about the existence of much better cryptocurrencies. After, let's say 10 years from now, most people will be aware of that. And of course they will choose better ones. That's why I think bitcoin could be a short term investment.
By short, I mean a few years, but after that we may see it go down in value. Who knows !
I'm sure that the use case of a cryptocurrency maybe an indicator for long term investment !

In my opinion hive is better than bitcoin and Ethereum, am not trying to patronize hive it’s the fact, hive has done and can do more things than bitcoin and Ethereum. But I guess the minute politics within crypto currency’s community is not giving room for hive to shine like it’s supposed to.
It will shine. We just have to keep it up. We have really a powerful community that's growing now.
Apparently, Bitcoin is what defines cryptocurrency for people. People use bitcoin as an alternate word for crypto, it's the most talked-about after all. All the other cryptos will take some time to reach that level where people start acknowledging it.
Hive is great but people will take some more time to accept it. Till then, let's rule the world :D
Nice said. I would say also, let's free the world. People who are working in crypto don't need to prove anything to others. We don't need QR codes, or something like that, to live in this world. A lot are fired from their work now because they don't want to be slaves, I'm inviting all of them to crypto.
Including me, I hate to work for someone according to their whims and fantasies, doing a job which I don't even like. The moment I make a decent earning here, I will quit my job for sure.
