Sōliloquium (original art + poetry)

So what? You lost it all, including your mind,
but you discovered it costs nothing to be kind.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained, and no regret-
the only failure's not trying; NEVER FORGET!

All of the storms that your soul has to weather-
are lessons on how to put the pieces back together.

The most important thing on the journey you've learned-
is to just be authentic and you can never get burned.

You were birthed from the flames of creativity-
and the things you truly value can be given freely.

What other people say says more about them,
so don't waste your energy on comparison.

There's no wrong way, so follow your intuition,
objectives become clear when you stick to the mission.

When the path winds down and the journey is complete,
you'll be grateful that you never accepted defeat.

Awesome poem and nice art browski! I loved this line in particular, 'All of the storms that your soul has to weather-
are lessons on how to put the pieces back together.'

I'm really digging the foil look of the graphic and the poem is truly inspiring. Sometimes life does suck, especially in those moments when we learn and grow, but you ALWAYS, come out the other side better for it. Great message.

There's beauty in the lessons, even if they're difficult to see at the time. It can be difficult to find the gratitude for some experiences, but on some level they all make us stronger and provide contrast for the good experiences.
