First SPS Prediction Market
I have finally hit my accumulation goal for SPS for the short term and I thought a good way to celebrate would be to make a prediction market for where we think it's going to go in the future. If you guys haven't heard of @dublup, well it's a prediction market built on the HIVE blockchain that utilizes PAL for governance, market creation, and market shares. It's been pretty fun getting to use it to create markets for tokens that aren't available for leverage trading or speculation on traditional exchanges.
Anyways, if you'd like to check it out or join, you can find the market in question here. The market in question is speculating on whether or not the price of SPS will go over $1.00 between September 1st and November 1st. To make things interesting and tempt the bears, I put 5000 PAL on yes as I'm particularly bullish on SPS. Feel free to join in on either side!
The site is pretty simple to use, you log in with hive keychain and there's a wallet page where you can trade swap.hive for PAL through the liquidity pool on tribaldex. It prevents users from having to fight with the low liquidity market orders. You can also make your own markets, but I suggest reading the instructions carefully or joining the Discord for some guidance if you try to do so as there are some guidelines to keep things fair.
I've actually been considering making some markets for predicting the outcomes of the big tournaments if you guys might be interested. My brother and I have been using dublup for predictions on mma fights and tv shows.
