Have you ever been on the Ferris wheel? I admit that I am not a very brave man, as a child I was perhaps much less cautious and did not think about the consequences of my actions. Now, perhaps as I age, I often stop to think about the consequences of my choices, a defect very often more than a virtue.

My 2-year-old son insistently asked me to go on the Ferris wheel, and I, now close to 40, hesitated a little before buying tickets. But as is often the case, I was very happy to be in the cabin and, together with my family, to have done more than one ride.

Observing the city from above always has an incomparable charm, the thrill of flying over tens of meters is difficult to explain to those who have never tried it. A truly strange but pleasant silence, an enchantment for the city that moves in a chaotic way below. The sea, however, on which the reflection of the sunset, is pure poetry. Too many words do not serve to best describe the spectacle that I enjoy from up here

Siete mai saliti sulla ruota panoramica? Ammetto di non essere un uomo molto coraggioso, da piccolo forse ero molto meno prudente e non pensavo alle conseguenze delle mie azioni. Ora, forse l'età che avanza, mi fermo spesso a pensare alle conseguenze delle mie scelte, un difetto molto spesso più che un pregio.

Mio figlio di appena 2 anni, mi ha chiesto insistentemente di andare sulla ruota panoramica, ed io, ormai vicino ai 40 anni, ho titubato un pò prima di comprare i biglietti. Ma come spesso accade, sono stato molto contento di essere salito sulla cabina e, insieme alla mia famiglia, di aver fatto più di un giro.

Osservare la città dall'alto ha sempre un fascino ineguagliabile, l'ebrezza di sorvolare a decine di metri è difficilmente spiegabile a chi non l'ha mai provato. Un silenzio davvero strano ma piacevole, un incanto la città che lì sotto si muove in modo caotico. Il mare però, su cui il riflesso del tramonto, è poesia pura. Troppe parole non servono a descrivere al meglio lo spettacolo che godo da qui sù
