We sometimes make bad investment, but we move.
I believe I'm good at knowing the right coin to buy for a short or long period. I'm always confident of any coin I spot and it has been making sense. But I made some bad trade late last year, and my wallet is yet to recover.
My intention was to hold for a little period and sell, but I just don't understand what went over me that I refused to sell when my wallet doubled. I left the coins expecting a more bullish trend before selling them off, and invest in another potential asset
My eyes cleared when I woke up one morning and the $400 has turned to $50. In crypto, I see it as a normal thing. There are times when the market would spike bullishly and vice versa. I kept monitoring my wallet for weeks but it seems everything was static. The market was bastardly ranging.
I wanted to buy the dip, but I was skeptical because the assets have lost value and the recent fundamental analysis I did wasn't encouraging. If I buy more of the coin, I would double my chance of making up what I've lost if the coin rises a little, and if it keeps coming down, then I've lost a great deal.
I decided to keep looking like a Lucozade. After a few weeks, the market consolidation was broken, and the breakout was massive. It was a flop on my side. My wallet was reading $10. Investment of around $200, rose to $400, and now at $10
Whose fault?
I learned a great lesson from this. If I want to keep a coin for a long time, I will buy and leave it. If it's for the short term, I will monitor it and take my profit at the right time. There are coins that have the potential of surging over a long period, and there are some that move up and down on a daily basis.
I've been using this strategy to trade, and believe me, it's working.
I'm a swing/day trader, but my wallet is trapped and I can't sell for now so I forcefully become a long-term trader. LOLZ
I will hold those coins till infinity, and keep using the new tactics to trade successfully.
These is part of the coin I bought

That's crazy man. You would feel like, why didn't I take my profit on time. Every penny that add to the wallet counts. We cannot have a good trade always. There are time like this. That's the market volatility.
Didn't know at that time how staking works. I thought the un-staking is automatic. Realized it only after few months. That's how unschooled I am when it comes to crypto space. 🤣
It happened to me too. We always learn daily in the crypto space because blockchain tech is advancing and we need to keep a track of every change.
This made me laugh. Only constant use makes us understand it more. I've fumbled a lot in the past to the extent that I was given a nickname. My guys call me "CRYPTO LOSTER" because I constantly send to a wrong address. Smiles.
