The bottled water remain the same. Only the location gives it value.
I buy bottled water constantly, and the price remains the same. Each time I buy the brand I like, I pay #150 (Like 30 cents). But where and where do I buy my bottled water at that price? I buy in local shops across the street, along the road when I'm in a hold-up, and in a mini-store in the neighborhood
But later, I realized that the same bottled water I buy at that price is sold at a higher price in some places. I was like, what the hell! Is this not the same water I bought for 30 cents you're selling for 90 cents? Has the country turned upside down, I exclaimed!
Smiles. I never knew that was just a preamble. Of course, I had to pay because I was at the airport. I escorted a friend to take a flight. I was angry till I left the airport. I soliloquized for minutes. (Bottle water wey dem dey sell for #150 come double up because say na airport. Rubbish!)
When he took his flight, I left, and on my way home, I bought the same bottled water on the highway for #150. I became angrier and I voiced out in the public car. What the fuck! The passengers thought I was mad. EMU O KO TO BUYINJE (Meaning hold him before he bites you) said a lady behind me. I'm not mad mam. I'm only reacting to something biting my intestine
That was for that day. When my guy returned from his journey, he called me to meet him at the Sheraton hotel. With a heart full of joy, I rushed to give him a welcome hug. We sat in the hotel and started jisting. He told me about his journey and I also related what happened in his absence
The bartender came and asked us what we cared for. I wasn't hungry, so I asked for bottled water. My friend also ordered the same thing, and after we were about to leave, the bartender brought the bills. When I saw #2200 ($2), I was like are you kidding me? Excuse me, sir, we didn't eat anything o. Na only water we drink biko
We had no options. We paid. I was just imagining. Water wey I dey buy for #150. Chai. But as I was reacting and thinking like someone that sapa has finished, I got a message from my head. (sapa means being broke. No money)
The same bottled water is sold at different prices. What changed? It's the location. If I take the water we bought for $2 to the highway, no one will buy it at that rate. It would be sold for #150(Naira). Conversely, if I buy on the highway at a cheap price, I would sell it at a higher price at the hotel
The water is of same brand. The water never changes. The only thing that changes is the place. Each place where it's sold gives it a different value
We live our lives differently. We can't be the same,
But each time you feel worthless in a particular place, change location.
There are other places you can go to that would increase your value. Don't stay in a place where your attention is not recognized. If you're not respected where you are, move out and join another circle. Surround yourself with people that value and know your worth
You are still yourself, just as the water remains the same, but the location where we place ourselves would give us the respect we deserve. Let's move if where we are isn't moving us forward. Locate a good location for you and your business to grow

I frequently use it to share the "value concept".
You are used to pay 0.30$ for a bottle of water. Here in Italy, for that amount you can buy between 1 and 1.5 liters of water in plastic.
By the way, when going to the desert, where there is almost no water, how much a thirsty person would be ready to pay to drink some water? Ten times, a hundred times?

It's always good to change location when you're not comfortable or not living up to your potential .
The bottle water issue nah major scam but a very good example to consider as what's useless in one place can be worth a whole lot somewhere else.
The hotel environment and everything they offer there breeds quality,so that also adds up the things they sell to people.
We should give ourselves value and not let other people value us. It's either you're underated in the wrong location or too hyped, which doesn't end well.
