MCGI brethren's day, 6/10/23 (day 1)

God is always merciful. In every ramification, he has been merciful to mankind from the day he created us in his image. He showed us love and care and made us his children

The SPBB programme was very much on point as the gathering today brought many brethren from different nooks and crannies. Some families came from Singapore, Dubai, Vietnam, and so on to witness the work God has been using MCGI to mount for his glory

Seriously, I was overwhelmed when I heard the story of someone that trekked from her place of abode to the MCGI brother's day. Trekking isn't a big deal if you ask me, but what about an old woman traveling 30 km by foot to see the programme? 30km! That's brain bursting. I was tongue tied. I asked myself If I have the zeal to do such in this 21st century. Truth be told, most of us would never attend if there's no means of transportation that would convey us to the venue. But this old woman because of her love for God walked all the way to the venue. And it was made known that that wasn't her first time. Today's youth wouldn't do that even with the energy they have. Can I? Hmm! Only God can give me the spirit to do such. I was really touched

Bro April carreon, talked about the joy and happiness derived from living in peace and unity. The nation that is of God is zealous with good will, joy and great events. The programme showcased many good will done to the people that attended. Treatment was given to the sick, all the people were fed. Everyone was welcome with love. There was no discrimination whatsoever. Many people testified to the miracle God did in their lives through MCGI, and also the help the church has been rendering to support them and their families

God commanded us to be good to all men because he loves us. If someone helps your child, you will definitely be pleased with that person because your child is a part of you. So the good we do to the brethren is recognized by God because he believes when we help others, we are doing it for him. All the people that attended were joyous. I learned a lot from the program and I'm glad that I joined even when I was too busy to concentrate because of work

Let's all be pitiful and courteous. Hebrew 13:16 says, “and do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices, God is pleased”. I'm certain that God is pleased in heaven with MCGI
