Debo confesar que el tiempo en que los niños regresan a clases se convierte en un verdadero stress para mí, decidí participar en esta iniciativa debido a que es un tema muy conocido y entendido entre la perspectiva materna, pero como padre tengo un rol diferente debido a mis responsabilidades como cabeza de hogar.

Sé que hay madres que hacen de “mama-papa” a la vez por decirlo de alguna manera pero para quienes por la gracia de Dios tenemos un matrimonio las cosas son un poco diferentes, el regreso a clases implica una sola cosa para mí, gastos, nada más.

Si bien disfruto que mis hijos regresen cada año a estudiar, la parte económica es otro tema pues es increíble cómo se gasta dinero en la educación, más en estos tiempos donde la economía esta tan dolarizada en un país donde el dólar no es la moneda oficial. Eso hace que uno no desee la vuelta a clases sino unas largas vacaciones indefinidas si se pudiera.

En mi caso tengo dos niños que están en la primaria y a pesar de que no siempre se están renovando útiles debido a que no gastan tanto en el año anterior, pareciera que todo se acumula en los meses de Agosto hasta Octubre, y a veces me sorprendo de poder pagar todo en esos meses, debo ser agradecido definitivamente.

La inscripción es un tema, la merienda otro, y como comen esos muchachos, dime el menor de tan solo 5 años, parece una lima nueva, eso implica gastar un poco más en la alimentación, sumado a eso está el asunto de los pasajes ya que no tenemos vehículo aun, por lo que el punto económico es muy movido en estos tiempos.

Afortunadamente mis niños ya comenzaron a estudiar, y se ha gastado, pero dejando de lado este punto también es una locura enseñarlos, ayudar a mi esposa en su educación es un asunto que requiere bastante dedicación, actualmente me encargo de ayudarlos en sus exposiciones y también en la materia de inglés, del resto es mi esposa quien está encargada de ayudarles en sus materias.

Quise exponer mi punto, el cual muchos de ustedes jefes de familia me comprenderán, la vuelta a clases es algo que nos toca asumir cada año mientras nuestros hijos estudien y alcancen su independencia, sin embargo estos son los temas que considero agobian, quizás a unos más que otros pero estoy seguro que la carga económica es difícil dependiendo de cada situación, pues son gastos que por lo general nunca o rara vez tenemos la disposición natural de hacerlos.

Posiblemente te puedas reír al leer mi post, no hay problema, aproveche la ocasión para desestresarme y exponer mis pensamientos, además de proporcionarte una lectura agradable, la vuelta a clases es interesante como cada quien la afronta, hay perspectivas de un lado y del otro, inclusive los niños tienen su propio pensamiento al respecto, de mi parte lo único en que estoy claro es que ya quiero las vacaciones de vuelta.

Back to school madness

I must confess that the time when children go back to school becomes a real stress for me, I decided to participate in this initiative because it is a very well known and understood topic among the maternal perspective, but as a father I have a different role due to my responsibilities as head of household.

I know that there are mothers who play "mom-dad" at the same time, but for those of us who by God's grace have a marriage, things are a little different, back to school means only one thing for me, expenses, nothing else.

While I enjoy that my children go back to school every year, the economic part is another issue because it is incredible how money is spent on education, especially in these times where the economy is so dollarized in a country where the dollar is not the official currency. That makes one not want to go back to school but a long indefinite vacation if possible.

In my case I have two children who are in elementary school and although they are not always renewing supplies because they do not spend so much in the previous year, it seems that everything accumulates in the months of August until October, and sometimes I am surprised to be able to pay for everything in those months, I should definitely be grateful.

The registration is one issue, the snack another, and how those kids eat, tell me the youngest of only 5 years, looks like a new lime, that means spending a little more on food, added to that is the issue of tickets as we do not have a vehicle yet, so the economic point is very busy these days.

Fortunately my children have already started to study, and it has been spent, but leaving aside this point it is also crazy to teach them, helping my wife in their education is a matter that requires a lot of dedication, currently I am in charge of helping them in their exhibitions and also in the English subject, the rest is my wife who is in charge of helping them in their subjects.

I wanted to expose my point, which many of you heads of family will understand me, the return to school is something that we have to assume every year while our children study and reach their independence, however these are the issues that I consider overwhelming, perhaps some more than others but I am sure that the economic burden is difficult depending on each situation, because they are expenses that usually never or rarely we have the natural disposition to make them.

You may laugh when reading my post, no problem, I took the opportunity to de-stress and expose my thoughts, besides giving you a pleasant reading, back to school is interesting how everyone faces it, there are perspectives from one side and the other, even children have their own thoughts about it, from my side the only thing I am clear about is that I already want the vacations back.
