The 8th Year Anniversary Sale has come to an end

It’s a blissful Saturday over here! I trust y’all are having a swell day in your various locations. So today was a busy day for me just like yesterday cos of a project I am currently working on. I didn’t have the time to play on Splinterlands but just had to create time at noon and was only able to win 2 battles. Had to shift it until this evening when I came home before I could complete the battles in FRONTIER league and atleast claim a set of prizes. Today was so hectic that I couldn’t even play in the MODERN league due to the rate of busyness. Tomorrow is Sunday so I’ll have more time for myself after church. It’s 6 days and 16 hours left before the end of the season and I still know I’m gonna meet up my target of accumulating 6k GLINT. I’m still on 3628 and hoping to get like 3400 more. It’s possible if I put in the time needed. So after playing in the FRONTIER league I was able to claim four foundation cards and two entries into the weekly FORTUNE draws.

My rewards for today were three COMMON cards and one RARE card. The cards were as follows the GRAND CONSUL (COMMON), the SPINETAIL FIEND(COMMON), the VENGEFUL MONK(RARE), and the NIM GUARD CAPTAIN(COMMON). So while scrolling through the official Splinterlands Discord I came across an announcement by DaveMccoy that here he mentioned that yesterday around 11:39pm GMT+1 the 8th Anniversary sale was gonna last for another one hour. He also mentioned that the Special foil event activities were as follows, cards that were bought during the sale were gonna be regular foil cards. The players who were gonna have chances in the draw were the one who owned the cards at the time of the draw. The special foil distribution were RARE DRAW (213 prizes) 200 GOLD foils, 5 GOLD foil Arcanes, 5 black foils, 3 back foil Arcanes while the Legendary draw was 56 prizes. 50 GOLD foils, 2 Gold foil Arcanes,3 Black foils and 1 Black foil Arcane.
