It's been an amazing week with joyous stories surrounding the history, pleasures, and fascination that we all have for our favourite beverage, coffee, that we have skimmed for throughout the week.

Art in a Coffeeshop by @teukuadam

I want to tell you about an artwork that I did for a friend who owns a coffee shop, he asked me to beautify the look of his coffee shop with a Japanese feel. Above is my illustration of his old coffee shop before moving to a new place where I will be working on. For the first one, he asked me to write KOPIIN which was translated into Japanese on a cloth to be displayed in front of the bar.

The coffee arrived very quickly and was just what the doctor ordered ( well maybe not the doctor but me anyways) hot, black and delicious. I realised almost immediately that I wasn’t going to get away with a quiet coffee just with my thoughts as very quickly people around me were asking me questions, introducing themselves and very obviously trying to make pitches for guides, camel trips, shops etc etc. ahhhh welcome to Egypt.

Matcha in the Afternoon at Kona Coffee & Eatery - A Story of Taking the Shelter in the Rain by @isdarmady

This coffee shop is not too big, the building is small with a large outdoor space. In addition to outdoor rooms, Kona Coffee & Eatery also has indoor and semi-outdoor rooms. I came when it was raining, and I couldn't sit in the outdoor or semi-outdoor places because the wind was blowing really hard. Finally I decided to sit in the indoor room.

When looking at the menu list, it turns out that there are lots of variants offered; coffee-based, es kopi susu, coffee frappe, save signature, milk-based, and manual brew. Meanwhile, non-coffee drinks have mocktails and several tea menus. In addition, there is also a dessert menu, biotes, pasta and rice dishes.

As I sit inside Coffee Bean & Tea Leaves, sipping on my latte, I can't help but feel overwhelmed. Life is moving at a breakneck pace, and I struggle to keep up. The constant notifications on my phone, the endless stream of emails, and the pressure to always be connected weigh heavily on me.

Milk tea is no longer just a trend but has become an indispensable part of young people. Just walking around the town - the hottest street in Soc Son, you will see a lot of milk tea brands like Liketea, Tocotoco, Bobapop ,The Alley, Phuc Long Phuc Long, Gong Cha, Maku, Royal Tea, Heekcaa, RnB, Sharetea.

The first thing she said to me was: "Friend, I am very sorry for bringing you from Colombia that coffee (Viejo Molino) that was not to your liking" so I want to vindicate myself with you by inviting you to my house to drink a much tastier one that I also bought in Colombia, it is called "Colcafé Clásico".

I like to vary when buying coffee, because in the market there are many recognized brands of coffee, one of them and that lasts over time is the coffee El peñon, I bought a lot of this coffee because its flavour is strong, and its aroma that emanates from a good coffee, also has a very contagious advertising that says Negrito, with milk or brown tastier, is... El PEÑÓN.

The nostalgia of my beginnings in hive, so I looked for combining the taste of coffee with milk with chocolate, so I searched until I found this brownie wrapped in chocolate and filled with arequipe in the shape of a heart, which makes an impact just by looking at it.
