Hi, coffee lovers!
In Venezuela, it's common to slice pieces of ham bread to accompany coffee and thus have an easy early dinner or breakfast. My family loves this.
Coincidentally, that's what we did here at my sister's house today, a few hours ago. She had a loaf of ham bread a friend gave her, and she thought that would be a perfect way to finish a long working day. We were exhausted.
So she sliced the bread which had been in the fridge since yesterday, and let it toast on the griddle.
I had a great view, by the way!

I finally see what ham bread is, I hear Venezuelans talk a lot about ham bread and I didn't know what it was like haha. How cute those two kittens! The coffee looks great.
I'm glad you can finally see it. The one I'm eating is little, bought at a bakery, and it's the most popular size (35 cm). I like to make it at home. Ham bread is an important part of Venezuelan identity, Christian or not, Catholic or not.

In Bulgaria and my family in particular we don’t have a special christmas foods and treats, but usually around the holidays my wife tends to bake cinnamon biscuits or special holiday sweets.
And of course the coffee has to be good! Nothing gathers beople better than a cup of warm coffee and a holiday spirit.
Kids around us are like our teachers and show us how to be happy and have some great time.
Excellent the family and children are essence, traditions arise in the home, the cookies look delicious and appetizing 🍪 congratulations to your wife.... With a delicious coffee ☕ I figured they are the perfect combination 😁 merry christmas 🎄.

Greetings to all and Merry Christmas 🧑🎄, I always accompany my coffee with some toast, or as my friend @chacald.dcymt tells me, a little piece of bread. It's very common, especially in the first coffee of the morning. Bread toast and coffee, as they usually do in the eastern part of the country ☕🍞.
That bread with coffee is very delicious, perfect to start the day with all the energy.

I like the combination, maybe, it's because I am familiar with coffee with bread, that is what we do here in Nigeria, most people drink coffee with a delicious bread just as yours 😊

We sure have an absolute favourite treat we enjoy during the holidays: my homemade tiramisu. It's one with a twist this year, and it was approved :)
Later I will also make some merengues as I forgot that I bought liquid egg whites and don't want to waste them.. And I think tomorrow I will make Christmas cupcakes and let the little one decorate them ..

It's a great combination! Although my coffee at home remains consistent in terms of which I drink, I sure like to add some treats here and there.. If you're curious about the recipe, I wrote it in a post today ..
Tiramisu is always a good choice, although we enjoy it all year round, while for the holidays we prefer a bit more spiciness in the sweet treats.

My Christmas coffee is the perfect companion to the Venezuelan Hallaca.
These traditions of welcoming Christmas with a hallaca, bread and coffee have been around for many generations. And it is possible that the new members of the family will continue with these Christmas habits.
Nothing compares to sitting by the Christmas tree to have that steaming cup of coffee and the traditional Christmas dish.

I think I'm going to put water on to boil to heat up two for dinner; I have three left in the fridge, and now I think they'll be yummy with a cafecito, since I have to stay awake to binge watch Marianne, hehe, which is nothing you should watch at Christmas. Maybe Canela is making just as much of a Grinch as she is!
