The Best of the Beanies, in no particular order - they were all so good!

Mario and Maria, The story of the missing coffee dose code by @chacald.dcymt

How I hate my undesirable boss. But this was the only job I got after I worked as a cafe supervisor and after a couple of coffee dose code cards went missing on my shift. Never found out what happened to those codes, never recorded what they were either.
I live alone, it has never been my forte to socialize with anyone and after the coffee crisis, we are all hostile and grumpy.

One more cup by @verdesmeralda

One afternoon I ate so much chocolate, trying to supply sudden cravings for more coffee, that it was midnight and I was still awake.
I tossed and turned in bed, put the pillow over my head, took it off, lay still for a couple of minutes, put on soft music to relax and did nothing to fall asleep. Then I grabbed my cell phone and was checking the statuses of my WhatsApp contacts to distract myself and my brother Ed had posted a picture of him smiling with a note that said: "I don't suffer for coffee".

A fly in the coffee. by @jetta.amaya

Antonio began to become obsessed with the quantities of coffee, it bothered him when his wife or his son drank it too fast because he alleged that they were unconscious. He bought smaller cups for his wife and son, but for him, the cup was still a normal size. Suddenly he stopped going to work, he started missing one day a week, then two, Antonio claimed he was sick, that he felt very bad, suddenly he did not go again and sooner rather than later he was sent a notice of dismissal.

There is always a way... 😎☕ by @valeriavalentina

Eloise was very confused when Mark entered the place full of plants and garden products, but it all made sense when one of the workers, picking up on a signal from Mark, directed them to a door that appeared to lead to a warehouse on the outside but led to a subway cellar where "The Coffee Barrel" was located.

Three knocks by @irvinc

I did as he instructed, went down the stairs and took the mask... The dim lighting and a huge cloud of cigarette smoke made it difficult to see...A few seconds passed when my nose felt the intoxicating smell of coffee, I got excited and cried, I had thought I would never feel that wonderful aroma again.

Coffee to urtadillas by @zorili91

The atmosphere is as cheerful as a discotheque, we forget that it is something illegal, and the conversations in low voices go up in tone in a lively way until someone remembers the illegal status and we return to whispering, the view is beautiful all kinds of coffee on the table.

Well And Truly Home by @jhymi

I warmed up to this woman who hugged me like I was a long-lost child. She quickly ushered us inside and we met about twenty pairs of warm eyes as they smiled at us. They all had cups in their hands and I gasped when I looked inside. Coffee.

The Floating Coffee Bar. by @george-dee

Finally, the blindfold was taken off and I got to see people's faces. I didn't know where we were but I know we were floating.
The aroma of coffee in the place filled my nose and goosebumps grew all over me.
"Please make your order", a lady with a mask said to me.
I gave her my order and wished I could walk in and out of the place whenever I wanted coffee.

In his relentless pursuit, Peter stumbled upon a forgotten coffee machine repair shop in a secluded area on the outskirts of the city.
The owner was a weary old chap who looked raggedy just like his shop. As Peter stepped into the shop, he could notice that the man seemed thrilled to have a visitor during such dire times.
Looking beside him, Peter noticed a small mug on a side table, beaming with vapour that filled the room with a sweet smell of coffee.
