The Best of the Beanies, in no particular order - they were all so good!

The advice I got from the coffee by @actioncats

I continued listening to the voice and I bristled completely when I realized that it came from the container where I keep the coffee, I thought it was a goblin or something similar, but no, it was my favourite coffee grind talking to me.

The aroma of the steaming coffee just beside the system filled my nose and seemed to transport my mind into a portal of unexplored creativity, leaving my human mind numb as it transcended into a realm of ancient wisdom. I felt godly, with the vocals from my speaker echoing like choral vocals, piercing through the calm in the worship of its king.

Absentmindedly, I picked up my coffee cup and brought it to my lips, while typing one-handed on the keyboard.
“Shit.” It was empty. I mentally calculated how much time I’d take to go to the percolator and get myself some coffee, and decided I could just about make it. So sprinting my mentally drained self to the percolator, I quickly made a steaming cup for myself. I took thirty seconds more to just inhale its redolent scent. Coffee did something to me that reminded me of those early years of marriage with Damon

The aroma of coffee enveloped me completely, making me feel a sense of pleasure and well-being. Liem spoke to me in a soft voice, telling me about the properties of coffee for the skin and mood. I responded with monosyllables, totally stuttering and hypnotized by its beauty and touch.

She spent the night up on a tall, sturdy tree, wide awake, watching and hoping he didn't find her. Her girls' scout training came in handy and so did her coffee flask. The coffee had lost its aroma and was slightly bitter. She sipped now and then to stay awake.

Great, a fashionista cup of coffee, I thought as I twisted my eyes.
I don't know at what point it happened, maybe it was too much alcohol in my blood with narcoleptics and too much coffee in my system. My friend Rachel's party was pretty rough, I think I saw Jeff throwing up several times on one of the living room floors.

The only thing that went warmly through her throat was coffee, her vigil companion, a litre every night, maybe two, she had lost count of how many she drank during the day to stay awake. There was nothing more delicious than a cup of coffee as black as the night sky, and with each sip, Martina imagined that she was drinking the night that tormented her.

But these deadlines - Cof reminds me of the migraine attacks I had back in 2021.. by @thisismylife

These Deadlines...png

It's my best friend Cof Fee at least, that's how I've been calling my friend for days now as I know this buddy is making sure to pull me through these insane deadlines I'm dealing with. I can hear Cof shaking in his cup while asking me how on earth I'm going to meet these deadlines while I'm all hyped up on caffeine and hearing voices coming from my coffee.

"Psstttt. Down here."
I looked down at the cup I was holding. I was definitely going crazy because the alternative was that a cup of coffee was talking to me.
"I have something really important to say and you need to hear it."
I was about to scream and throw the cup away when the coffee spoke again, "You can scream and throw me against the wall in a few minutes but first listen."
I froze but listened.
