Restocking Weekend - My Actifit Report Card: July 8 2023

Happy weekend, Actifitters!

There were a lot of interesting things that happened yesterday. We woke up early so we could go to the market to buy meat and vegetables to restock our supplies in the fridge and pantry. After buying everything on the list, we stopped by the supermarket to buy goods that aren't available in the wet market. My list includes cooking wine for the Chinese recipe that I'm planning to cook next week. After getting everything we needed, we went straight to the check-out counter. I was placing the goods at the check-out counter so the cashier could scan them when I noticed the little one was not beside me.

I moved back to look for him, but he wasn't in the first three aisles I checked. I found him in the alcoholic drink aisle, in front of that red bottle. He said he wanted the "red juice," referring to the bottle above. I explained to him that it wasn't juice and that it was only for adult beverages. The conversation took longer than I expected, and the cashier had already finished scanning our goods and was just waiting for the payment. I apologize for the delay, though it's a good thing there's no customer after us.

Next, we visited the shop where I usually buy my baking supplies. Though they have baking supplies in the supermarket too, the supplies from this shop are a lot cheaper compared to the prices in the leading supermarkets.

We didn't stay long, though there was a lot of stuff I wanted to check because the little guy beside me kept saying he was hungry.

There was a lot of stuff I did for the rest of the day, but most of it was spent in the kitchen.
