dCity Digest Issue #13 : A Decent Day in dCity
Another decent day in dCity and another decent SIM income.
No emergencies or disaster today. Taxes are still high as a mother fucker.... Voting for whomever will actually work on lowering those. I dont give a damn about other players making a War Profit. I don't even have those cards to earn from that tax. It does me no good and from what I can tell literally does no good for other players unless they have a stake in the tax profits.
More housing means more dCity residents, which means more SIM income!
2 new Apartment cards in the bag.
1 Factory card in the bag too! The Factory card has a good income stat and a very helpful employment stat.
A new Homeless card. Right onto the market. If this was IRL, I'd offer that IRL person some help. This is not that situation and my training chance percentage is not high enough for the card to be helpful yet.
The Job Center card is needed card for any dCity.
Need that Research Center card so I now have a chance at the Technology I have been unlocking.

Very nice. I've kind of become obsessed with this game. Fuck War profits, lower taxes. Also I'd work on increasing your Education a little.
Maybe if global war taxes somehow helped other players the tax would be worth something. The other ingame taxes make sense but this one just fucks you unless you're a Military whale.
I like the presidential election system tho. I don't mind there being a possible swing to the game every two weeks to create a need to become more tactical if you want to stay efficient with your profits.

The base tax rate is a function of SIM price in HIVE, Par is set to .005,and it is currently at .001. Until SIM gets back to PAR the base tax will adjust on a 3 day average and stay high. I would focus on making NFT's and not SIM income. Get education to 1000, and creativity up. That was you can sell the cards you create to fund other stuff.

I have my reasons why I base the posting profits in SIM, even if I just focused on NFTs I would still show numbers in SIM.
