WHAT SHOULD I DO BE A TRUE DISCIPLE OF JESUS, Lessons from MCGI TEACHINGS

Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

I saw this video on the community platform and the friend who invited me told me to listen to the message and share my lessons. I want to thank the MCGI Cares for giving us this opportunity to come and listen to the Word of God. There are many useless and careless activities that we engage ourselves in daily when we go to our offices and business centers. These activities become threats to our christian journey. They can even lead us away from Christ. Many of us only remember God on church service days.
But Thank God for The MCGI. They make us create time and stay away from unproductive interactions in order to listen to the doctrines and learn something that will certainly be a blessing to us.

Listening to this message, I was blessed and at the same time cautioned by our father, Bro Eli Soriano, who explained to us. I am blessed because I have gotten to understand that if I want to be a disciple of Jesus, I should be a true disciple. This reveals to me that they are fake disciples. Some people just dress fine and go to church regularly, but they don't obey the teachings of Jesus Christ in the Bible. Many people only hear the messages and go home but when they go outside in the society, they live their lives without the fear of God.

When I listened to the video, one thing that I heard our father, Bro Eli Soriano emphasized is that true disciples of Jesus Christ obey His commandments and His doctrines. The commandments of Jesus are written in the Bible. The Bible contains the Word of God, the Mind of God, the Will of God, the purpose of God, and the plan of God for all mankind.
To obey God, we must listen to and obey His Words. True disciples of Jesus, in summary, are those who obey His commandments. The bitter truth is that when Jesus comes back, He will separate the sheep from the goats. I want to end on God's side, so I will always follow and obey the doctrines of Jesus Christ written in the Bible. May God help us all.
