Those Mysterious Lovers-digital paint
Tenía mucho tiempo que no dibujaba mis versiones de los personajes del universo de Scooby Doo, y la verdad es que me apetecía mucho hacerlo. Es por ello que, para empezar, decidí ilustrar a Shaggy y a Daphne.
En mi mente, estos personajes han sido pareja en diferentes situaciones, por lo que quería ilustrarlos mientras compartían una cita o charlaban mientras tomaban algo juntos.
Al final, me decanté por ilustrarlos en una simpática situación en donde ambos estuvieran sonrojados, y la verdad es que amé el resultado final. Es por esto que, en esta ocasión, les presento el paso a paso de estos dos jóvenes misteriosos enamorados.
It had been a long time since I had drawn my versions of the characters from the Scooby Doo universe, and the truth is that I really wanted to do it. That's why, to begin with, I decided to illustrate Shaggy and Daphne.
In my mind, these characters have been a couple in different situations, so I wanted to illustrate them while sharing a date or chatting over drinks together.
In the end, I decided to illustrate them in a nice situation where both were blushing, and the truth is that I loved the final result. That is why, on this occasion, I present to you the step by step of these two young mysterious lovers.
Step by Step:
Primero, comencé haciendo un boceto rustico de los personajes para luego pulir los detalles del mismo. Luego, realicé el line art final de ambos, preparando todo para el coloreado de la ilustración.
First, I started by making a rustic sketch of the characters and then I polished the details of it. Then, I made the final line art of both, preparing everything for the coloring of the illustration.
Tras esto, decidí concentrarme en el coloreado de Shaggy. Comencé coloreando las sombras y definiendo las entradas de luz, principalmente de su piel y cabello. Luego continué con lo demás.
After this, I decided to concentrate on coloring Shaggy. I started by coloring the shadows and defining the light entries, mainly of his skin and hair. Then I continued with the rest.
Al concluir el coloreado de Shaggy, realicé el mismo proceso con Daphne.
When I finished coloring Shaggy, I did the same process with Daphne.
Al terminar el coloreado de los personajes, visibilicé a nuestros protagonistas en el mismo lienzo y me preparé para finalizar con la ilustración. Agregué rubor a sus rostros, coloque un fondo difuminado, que hiciera referencia a una especie de restaurante, y coloqué mi firma en la esquina superior.
After finishing the coloring of the characters, I made our protagonists visible on the same canvas and prepared to finish the illustration. I added blush to their faces, placed a blurred background, which referred to a kind of restaurant, and placed my signature in the upper corner.
