Mi trabajo y mi vida personal me habían mantenido bastante ocupado, y no había encontrado la oportunidad para sentarme a ilustrar algo, hasta que hace unos días decidí dejar de procrastinar y enfocarme en un nuevo dibujo.
Fue así como decidí buscar referencias en pinterest, hasta que encontré una fotografía que me inspiró. Dibuje entonces a esta chica, cambiando su atuendo y detalles de su cara. Me enfoque en dibujar una mirada que transmitiera desinteres, que luciera como si estuviera juzgando a alguien. Decidí nombrarla: Karina, y espero les guste tanto como a mi.
My work and personal life had been keeping me pretty busy, and I hadn't found the opportunity to sit down and illustrate something, until a few days ago when I decided to stop procrastinating and focus on a new drawing.
So I decided to look for references on pinterest, until I found a photograph that inspired me. I drew this girl, changing her outfit and details of her face. I focused on drawing a look that conveyed disinterest, that looked as if she was judging someone. I decided to name her: Karina, and I hope you like it as much as I do.
Step by Step:
Primero, comencé haciendo un boceto rustico del personaje, para luego definir los rasgos y detalles principales.
First, I started by making a rustic sketch of the character, and then defined the main features and details.
Tras esto, realicé el Line Art y me procure en mejorar el boceto lo más que pude. Luego, continué con el coloreado de nuestra protagonista. Quería usar colores muy cálidos y agradables, y que sus ojos tuvieran un delineado rojo que combinara con sus labios. Quería que todo luciera color pastel, e intenté obtener dicho resultado, jugando con las luces y sombras.
After that, I made the line art and tried to improve the sketch as much as I could. Then, I continued with the coloring of our protagonist. I wanted to use very warm and nice colors, and I wanted her eyes to have a red eyeliner to match her lips. I wanted everything to look pastel, and I tried to achieve that result by playing with light and shadow.
Llegados a este punto, decidí colocar mi firma en el costado superior del lienzo y dar por culminada mi ilustración.
At this point, I decided to place my signature on the upper side of the canvas and consider my illustration finished.
Me siento muy satisfecho con el resultado final, y espero les guste tanto como a mi. Quería que su mirara transmitiese desinteres, y considero se logro. Además, disfruté mucho el resultado final del color y las sombras, considero logré el objetivo que quería con este dibujo.
