The Girl in The Library - Original Character in Digital Paint
El día de hoy quiero presentar a un nuevo personaje original, a quien decidí llamar Isabel.
La historia detrás de esta ilustración es bastante sencilla. Me encontraba sentado en mi computadora con muchísimas ganas de dibujar, sin saber muy bien que hacer, por lo que decidí entrar en pinterest para buscar inspiración y modelos.
Fue allí donde encontré a una chica con un cabello increíble que llamó por completo mi atención, motivándome por completo a dibujarla. De esta manera, nació Isabel.
Sin más dilación, les presento el "Paso a Paso" de "La Chica de la Biblioteca".
Today I want to introduce a new original character, whom I decided to call Isabel.
The story behind this illustration is quite simple. I was sitting at my computer with a lot of interest in drawing, not really knowing what to do, so I decided to go on pinterest to look for inspiration and models.
It was there where I found a girl with amazing hair that completely caught my attention, motivating me to draw her. This way, Isabel was born.
Without further ado, I present to you the "Step by Step" of "The Girl in The Library".
Step by Step:
Primero que todo, realicé un boceto rústico del personaje. Marcando su pose y estructura. Luego, pulí un poco ese boceto, añadiendo los detalles caracterízticos del diseño de Isabel, como su cabello, cara, ropa, etc.
First of all, I made a rough sketch of the character. Marking her pose and structure. Then, I polished that sketch a bit, adding the characteristic details of Isabel's design, like her hair, face, clothes, etc.
Luego, proseguí realizando el Line Art final, dejando todo listo para su coloreado. Quería usar colores fuertes, como el amarillo y el marrón, para que protagonizaran la ilustración junto con Isabel, por lo que me enfoqué mucho en ello, intentando mantener una armonía en todo el dibujo. También, me enfoqué mucho en las sombras y luces, como es de costumbre.
Then, I continued with the final line art, leaving everything ready for coloring. I wanted to use strong colors, such as yellow and brown, to star in the illustration along with Isabel, so I focused a lot on it, trying to maintain harmony throughout the drawing. Also, I focused a lot on the shadows and lights, as usual.
Tras finalizar con el coloreado de nuestra protagonista, decidí realizar un boceto rústico del fondo, para luego arreglarlo añadiendo su Line Art, y luego enfocarme en el coloreado. Todo esto respetando la paleta de colores y estilo que ya había trabajo en Isabel.
After finishing the coloring of our protagonist, I decided to make a rustic sketch of the background, and then fix it by adding her line art, and then focus on the coloring. All this respecting the color palette and style that I had already worked on Isabel.
Al terminar con el fondo, decidí colocar visible a Isabel con el fondo para poder detallar como quedaban.
When I finished with the background, I decided to place Isabel visible with the background to be able to detail how they looked.
En este punto, y habiendo quedado conforme con la ilustración, decidí pintar una pared de fondo y agregar mi firma, dando por finalizado la ilustración.
At this point, and having been satisfied with the illustration, I decided to paint a background wall and add my signature, thus finalizing the illustration.
Y con esto, doy por finalizado mi publicación de hoy. La verdad es que estoy muy a gusto con el resultado final, amé su expresión y pose, y lo mucho que considero transmite. Disfrute mucho usando una paleta de color diferente, y marcando tan fuertemente las sombras y luces. Espero de corazón les guste tanto como a mi, y que beban mucha agua. Un gran abrazo!
And with this, I will end today's post. The truth is that I am very pleased with the final result, I loved her expression and pose, and how much I think she transmits.
