The Boy Who Killed The Ogre-digital paint
Hace varios días compartí una nueva historia original, después de casi tres años si publicar ningún relato, en la que ilustré al personaje principal para que los lectores pudieran darse una idea de su apariencia.
Me gustó mucho el diseño que hice y me gustaría compartírselos por acá. Es por ello que a continuación, les mostraré el paso a paso de como ilustré a mi protagonista de mi nueva historia corta, titulada: “A Mil Latidos Por Segundo”.
Espero que les guste el dibujo tanto como a mí, y que puedan pasar a leer mi relato corto. Un gran abrazo y tomen mucha agua.
Couple of days ago I shared a new original story, after almost three years without publishing any story, where I illustrated the main character so that the readers could get an idea of his appearance.
I really liked the design I made and I would like to share it with you here. That is why below I will show you the "Step by Step" of the illustration of the protagonist of my new short story, entitled: "A Thousand Beats Per Second".

Step by Step:
Primero, comencé dibujando un boceto rápido del personaje, para continuar definiendo su expresión y Line Art.
First, I started by drawing a quick sketch of the character, to continue defining his expression and Line Art.
Tras haber finalizado el Line Art, decidí comenzar con el coloreado. No tenía una idea clara de cómo quería realizar este proceso así que me dejé llevar. Lo único definido que tenía era la necesidad de que las sombras fueran muy marcadas, principalmente en sus ojos y ojeras, para denotar cansancio y rabia.
After having finished the Line Art, I decided to start with the coloring. I didn't have a clear idea of how I wanted to do this process so I got carried away. The only thing defined that I had was the need for the shadows to be very marked, mainly in his eyes and dark circles, to denote tiredness and anger.
Y por último, decidí colocar un fondo de color y mi firma para dar por finalizada la ilustración.
And finally, I decided to place a colored background and my signature to finish the illustration.
