(ESP-ENG) The Man in the Mirror - Digital Paint

HELLO AGAIN, TRUNKS!

It's been more than a week since I've posted anything here, and I was anxious to do it. That's why I decided to look on Pinterest for images that could convey strong feelings, with strong colors and styles.

It was there when I found an urban photo shoot, starring Robert Pattinson, that completely blew my mind. I decided to watch the session completely and carefully, to then choose one and make my version of that photograph.

That's how I found a picture of Robert in front of a mirror, looking at his reflection. It automatically became my favorite, and I decided to version it. I really liked the final result, and that is why, excited, I present to you the "Step by Step" of the drawing that I decided to call: "The Man in the Mirror".

HOLA DE NUEVO, TRONCOS!

Desde hace mas de una semana que no publicaba nada por acá, y ya estaba ansioso por hacerlo. Fue por ello que decidí buscar en Pinterest imágenes que pudiesen transmitirme sentimientos fuertes, con colores y estilos marcados.

Fue allí cuando encontré una sesión de fotos urbana, protagonizada por Robert Pattinson, que voló por completo mi cabeza. Decidí ver la sesión por completo y con detenimiento, para luego escoger una y hacer mi versión de dicha fotografía.

Fue así como encontré una fotografía en donde se apreciaba a Robert frente a un espejo, observando su reflejo. Automáticamente se convirtió en mi favorita, y decidí versionarla. Me gustó muchísimo el resultado final, y es por ello que, emocionado, les presento el "Paso a Paso" del dibujo que decidí llamar: "El Hombre en el espejo".

Step by Step:

Lo primero que realicé para este nuevo proyecto, fue ilustrar un boceto bastante rústico de nuestro protagonista, en donde se pudiera apreciar su pose. Luego, definí detalles en la ilustración como los rasgos de nuestro personaje y objetos cercanos a él, además de ilustrar el marco del espejo.

The first thing I did for this new project was to illustrate a rather rustic sketch of our protagonist, where you could appreciate his pose. Then, I defined details in the illustration such as the features of our character and objects close to him, besides illustrating the mirror frame.

Luego, decidí dibujar la pared del cuarto de baño en el que se encuentra mi personaje, y garabateé rápidamente el hombro del protagonista para crear un poco de perspectiva en la ilustración.

Then, I decided to draw the wall of the bathroom where my character is located, and I quickly scribbled the protagonist's shoulder to create a bit of perspective in the illustration.

Ya con el boceto terminado, decidí centrarme en nuestro protagonista y todos los detalles dentro del espejo de baño. Decidí realizar el Line Art final del personaje para luego realizar el coloreado completo del mismo, además de colorear los objetos que lo rodean y detalles en el espejo, intentando generar brillo y luz. Con el coloreado, quise enfatizar muchísimo en el color verde y sus variaciones.

Once the sketch was finished, I decided to focus on our main character and all the details inside the bathroom mirror. I decided to make the final line art of the character and then make the complete coloring of it, in addition to coloring the surrounding objects and details in the mirror, trying to generate brightness and light. With the coloring, I wanted to emphasize a lot on the green color and its.

Al finalizar con el coloreado de mi protagonista y el espejo, decidí enfocarme en el fondo. Visibilicé el boceto original de las cerámicas de la pared, para luego realizar el Line Art y su coloreado.

When I finished coloring my protagonist and the mirror, I decided to focus on the background. I made the original sketch of the ceramics on the wall visible, and then I made the line art and its coloring.

Visibilicé un momento el espejo, para poder observar con detenimiento como iba quedando. Luego, visibilicé el boceto original del hombro fuera del espejo, y realicé su Line Art final y coloreado, para generar la profundidad que quería.

I took a look at the mirror for a moment, so that I could take a closer look at how it was coming out. Then, I made the original sketch of the shoulder visible outside the mirror, and I made its final line art and coloring, to generate the depth I wanted.

Luego, visibilicé cada capa para poder apreciar todos los detalles juntos, y decidí colocar mi firma en la parte superior del dibujo, dando por concluida la ilustración.

Then, I made each layer visible in order to appreciate all the details together, and decided to place my signature at the top of the drawing, concluding the illustration.

De esta manera, doy por finalizado el post. Amé la expresión y estilo del protagonista, considero transmite mucha ira y frustración. Me gusta que, gracias al coloreado y detalles del dibujo, se puede interpretar que nuestro protagonista vive intensamente, en un mundo muy oscuro. Amé el resultado final y muero por conocer sus opiniones, por lo que espero con ansias sus comentarios. Me da gusto estar de regreso y espero todos se encuentren muy bien. ¡Un gran abrazo y beban mucha agua!

This is the end of this post. I loved the expression and style of the main character, I think it conveys a lot of anger and frustration. I like that, thanks to the coloring and details of the drawing, you can interpret that our protagonist lives intensely, in a very dark world.
