HOLA DE NUEVO, TRONCOS!

En esta ocasión, quise hacer una ilustración inspirada en una fotografía que me encanta del actor Danny DeVito.

Me causa mucha gracia la expresión tan simpática que tiene el actor, y no podía dejar de dibujarlo. Me gustó mucho el resultado final, y espero les encante tanto como a mí.

Sin más que decir, les comparto entonces el "Paso a Paso" de mi versión de Danny DeVito.

On this occasion, I wanted to make an illustration inspired by a photograph I love of actor Danny DeVito.

I love the funny expression the actor has, and I couldn't help but draw it. I really liked the final result, and I hope you love it as much as I do.

Without more to say, I share with you the "Step by Step" of my version of Danny DeVito.

Step by Step:

Primero, realicé un garabato rápido de Danny, tomando de referencia la fotografía.

First, I made a quick scribble of Danny, using the photograph as a reference.

Luego, me concentré en el Line Art. Usé líneas de color en vez de las típicas líneas negras que uso para trazar y limpiar el boceto original, con el fin de darle un poco más de vida al dibujo. También pensé en realizar el coloreado de brillo y sombras de manera solida, y dejar de lado el difuminado de siempre.

Next, I concentrated on line art. I used colored lines instead of the typical black lines I use to trace and clean up the original sketch, in order to give the drawing a little more life. I also thought about doing the highlight and shadow coloring in a solid way, and leaving aside the usual blurring.

Y para culminar, decidí colorear los cristales de sus lentes, intentando generar el efecto de luz chocando en el vidrio. Luego, continué con la ilustración agregando un fondo que representase las gradas de un teatro o estadio de básquet, y coloqué mi firma.

And to top it off, I decided to color the crystals of their lenses, trying to generate the effect of light hitting the glass. Then, I continued with the illustration by adding a background representing the bleachers of a theater or basketball stadium, and placed my signature.

Con esto, doy por concluido el dibujo de hoy. Todo en este dibujo me encantó, considero que es de mis favoritos. Desde la expresión tan particular que tiene, como lo pulido del Line Art, hasta el coloreado que realicé y el trabajo de sombras. En general, es un dibujo que me enorgullece mucho. With this, I conclude today's drawing. I loved everything in this drawing, I consider it one of my favorites. From the particular expression it has, to the polished line art, to the coloring I did and the shadow work. In general, it's a drawing I'm very proud of.
