Between two Continents - Zwischen zwei Kontinenten
It's fascinating how a city can exist on two continents, Europe and Asia. By car, the crossing takes less than a minute and the view is insane. You can see on the left and right huge ships driving the goods from A to B transport. Some wealthy people have put some villas right on the shore. And then there is me, who takes out his camera every time he crosses the bridge. I admit that if I lived in Istanbul and crossed this bridge every day, it wouldn't be like that anymore, but I've crossed this bridge a few dozen times now and every time I have to remember that it's two continents that are being connected and I'm in the middle of it.
Schon faszinierend wie eine Stadt auf zwei Kontinenten vorhanden sein kann Europa und Asien. Mit dem Auto dauert die Überfahrt eine knappe Minute und die Aussicht ist dabei wahnsinn. Man sieht links und rechts riesige Schiffe fahren die Waren von A nach B transportieren. Einige wohlhabende Menschen haben direkt am Ufer einige Villen hingestellt. Und dann gibt es da mich, der jedes mal seine Kamera rausholt wenn er über die Brücke fährt. Ich gebe zu würde ich in Istanbul leben, und jeden Tag über diese Brücke fahren, dann wäre dem nicht mehr so, aber einige Dutzend Male bin ich jetzt auch schon über diese Brücke und jedes mal muss ich dran denken, dass es sich um zwei Kontinente handelt, welche gerade miteinander verbunden werden und ich mitten drin.
