What In The World Is A Merit?!
Merits are just another form of Currency in Splinterlands a very awesome game that I love to play. You can earn Merits by being active in a guild and brawling. Every Brawl you take part in earns you some Merits.
So What?!
That is what I thought so I have been earning merits for a few months and have over 3,000 Merits so far. Big deal what can I do with Merits. If a person has 2,000 Merits you can buy Gladius Case.
That Is Exactly What I Did
No, I am not a Splinterlands genius I learned of this by reading another person's post about doing the same. At first, it seemed too good to be true. Then I tried it myself and even without the proper gems, I managed to get some pretty cool cards.
The above image is a screen capture of the Gladius Case being opened. I must say that the animations and graphics of Splinterlands are breathtaking. I do not think the Artists get the credit they deserve like so many before them.
As You Can See 5 Cards
Just like Chaos Legion Packs, I got 5 cards from the Gladius Case.
Amazing!!
I thought I was going to get a bunch of random common cards, but to my surprise, I received a Gold Foil, and 2 rares. Even the common cards are awesome with dual abilities. I have never seen the BloodLust ability before but it is supposed to raise all of the monster's abilities by plus 1. I will need to use these new cards in battles to really understand how the Bloodlust ability works in action.
Thank you so much for reading about my most recent Splinterlands adventure 😃
Excellent! a golden one, congratulations!
Thank you so much 👍
It's going to be a while before we can use these cards but just having them helps your power go up.
That is true I like accumulating that Deck Power 👍
It's always great to open some Gladius Cases man. It just feels right!

Congrats.
I have some troubles to get used to these gladius edition cards probably because I haven't played them often. They are actually pretty fancy and powerful. The good thing is that they count for the collection points.
I have picked this post on behalf of the @OurPick project and it will be highlighted in the next post!
