Power To Believe, Break Through The Barrier

Over the past week, I have been reading this book by David Goggins, and I wasn't expecting big things. I have not read a book like this before, but within the first few pages, I was sucked in, and although I have not read halfway through his book, I am very much enjoying it and learning from it. This post is not about said book. Instead, it is about finding my belief and achieving.
I think back to a time when I was 16, I did not enjoy school, was easily distracted and hung out with the wrong people. Thankfully, nothing bad ever came from it apart from having zero grades and qualifications. To some, it is a boundary that holds them back. To me, it is something I now forget about and learn from and look to do better. As I get older, you see things differently, and I learn many things that even if I did well in school and paid more attention, I likely would not have learned anyway. Education is important, there is no doubt, but in failure, it shouldn't be a reason to hold back or a barrier to finding success.
Everyone has a journey to go on to discover themselves. I have been on a long one myself. 10 years ago I was only interested in sports, Quiet and not popular. Now in the present, I have so many hobbies and interests that my issue now is finding time to squeeze them all in. I'm more vocal and always looking to socialise, I hear people younger than me talk about social batteries, for me, my battery is always full, I always want to talk. I am still not popular, but that does not concern me as I have surrounded myself with good, passionate, and genuine people. Being A user on Hive and throwing myself into the whole blockchain/crypto stuff has most certainly improved my life and helped me on this journey. In a way I am really glad I took the decision last year to get off platforms like X, facebook and tiktok and instead focus much more on decentralisation and to learn, adapt and help change the landscape of social medias, web tech and blockchains.
Learning is like an F1 car. You have to build from the ground up, put in 100% on each component, and take it on A test drive. It's lights out and away we go. You have no idea if the car can last till the finish line, you also have no idea if the car performs well to compete and you do not know if you will see any results. What is certain is the effort, the time and having no regrets on trying.

There are many bounderies in life, many distractions, and sadly some people that do not believe in you. but you're story does not have to end here and it is up to you how the journey goes. I am loving my personal jounrey and I have found many small wins recently with finding a new job, activily participating in the amazing @creativeworkhour sessions, building acquaintances and even developing into friendships not only on Hive but also networking in general, and having fun while I do it all.
Finding success is the goal for most people but, do not become frustrated when you are not succeeding.
