Investing in a Kindle
I finally did it i finally purchased a Kindle, albeit a cheap second-hand one, but after roughly a week of daily usage, I am really enjoying it.
I was at first skeptical I like the feeling of a book and love the aesthetic of a full bookshelf, but after realising I wasn't hitting my reading goals and that I could do so much reading and productive stuff on my daily commutes, I realised a Kindle might actually be right for me. Being new to the E-reader thing I didn't wanna break the bank I know there are a couple E reading brands but for good or bad it is clear Amazon dominated the market and with there numourous kindle devices i see why.
I was in talks with A university friend about them and he recently upgraded to a Kindle Scribe and had his origanal kindle sitting around and after enquiring he sold it to me for A very generous £20, as a thank you i treated him to a couple cold beers at the local pub.

A small device yes but it surprisngly works very well for books and better yet it fits in my jacket pocket. It has got its wear and tear but i don't mind that too much.

I have already added some books to my Library and have already got stuck in to Stephen kings IT, it is a long read though coming in at an impressive 1000+ pages. I have also added books about F1 and Jack reacher.
Overall i am very happy to be picking this up, will i upgrade? most likely, not straight away though as I have piortistised other things like a future Hive meetup, Christmas, new job searching and looking after my needs before buying my wants. As for what kindle I will look to get it will either be the Paperwhite or the cool looking scribe.
This will conclude today's post but just before i end i will plug here my GoodReads If you'd like to keep track with reading, I will very much follow back :)

Have a good weekend Hivers :)
