Freewrite Writing Prompt: ticket to the Otherside

ticket to the Otherside
Monday Morning, Rush hour. The train station is bustling with life and the smell of coffee fills your senses as people rush past you spilling drops of coffee as they run to board their trains. Your train doesn't depart for the next 15 minutes so you are more relaxed. You take in your surroundings when you sport a small newspaper vendor so with your bag you walk over looking at the various front page paper headlines for the newspaper you would like to read during this long journey. After a few seconds, you find the paper and grab it while reaching into your pocket and feeling around for the few loose pennies you have to pay the assistant. As you fold the paper into the inside pocket of your coat you hear a familiar bell followed by the announcement on the tannoy that your train departs in ten minutes. You look around finding the right platform to head towards and as you approach the barrier you unfold your ticket and insert it into the barrier a chime sounds and you make your way through grabbing the ticket on your way. After walking along the platform you eventually board the train and you place your bags in the overhead storage before slumping in your chair with your newspaper. A big relief hits when you feel a vibration beneath you and the train begins to depart. you are thrilled you have A ticket to the other side a place that will be better than this side.
That concludes my #freewrite thanks for reading. #dailyprompt
