Exciting Weekend Away
Good Evening Community
The post is A little overdue but finally, here it is.
the weekend just gone was A fun and eventful one I did lots and today I am sharing with you all what went down.
The weekend away started Early Saturday morning where we took A drive that took around 1 hour and 20 minutes out of my town and across the county into Suffolk and then briefly into Essex. The main purpose of the trip was to go see A comedian at the theatre in Ipswich but as we decided to stay the night as it was a late show we decided to head into Braintree to do some Christmas shopping, Geocaching and overall fun.
We spent a lot of the afternoon at the shopping outlet village its basically a big shopping complex but the stores are Outlet versions so they are supposedly cheaper than there shops in town.
We stayed past dark... only 5pm
We got to see the same tree again this time at night.
Eventually, we travelled back to Ipswich and got settled at the Hotel for the evening, grabbing some food on the way and having a quick drink in a nearby pub.
Of course, we had some Dessert.
Eventually, we got to the hotel It was quite late because it got very foggy and there was also a car crash on the A road so it delayed us but eventually we made it to the hotel and I watched some tv before crashing for the night.
The next morning we took it slow, The premier inn was fully booked so for breakfast we had to prebook a time slot and 9:30 was the option so we had a little extra sleep before getting a big breakfast in.
I had A shower and we checked out around 11 am and then we headed into town. And that was where we spent most of the day going to some shops, the bowling alley and a restaurant for some food.
We opted for Pizza Express as the other places had a wait time. It was my first time here and probably my last, the food was good but £14 for a pizza and £5 for an alcoholic drink I will choose elsewhere next time.
The evening finally came and it was time to go to the theatre to see...
A comedian named Russell Howard. What a show it was it was amazing.
As it was the first time I had seen a live performance ever I thought I would buy A poster, A t-shirt and A magnet to make it a memorable weekend. Overall it was so nice to get away after all the struggles that have been going on at work and in life. I will be going to London for the weekend in A couple of weeks too that will be the last of my travels for this year.
Thank you for taking time to read my post
