Одеська область. Лиман Бурнас - Odessa region. Lyman Burnas

Позаминулого літа відпустку ми проводили в Одеській області. Мешкаючи в Чорноморську їздили по різним цікавим місцям навкруги. І ось одне з таких місць – лиман Бурнас, який знаходиться недалеко від селища Лебедівки, яка є курортом.

Last summer we spent our vacation in Odessa region. Living in the Black Sea, they traveled to various interesting places around. And one of such places is the Burnas estuary, which is located near the village of Lebedivka, which is a resort.

Власне і курортною ця місцевість є завдяки солоноводному лиману Бурнас, який разом із групою інших озер входить до складу Національного природного парку «Тузловські лимани». Бурнас відокремлений від Чорного моря пересипом і з’єднується з останнім системою каналів. Солоність води в лимані вдвічі вища, ніж у Чорному морі.

In fact, this area is a resort due to the saltwater estuary Burnas, which together with a group of other lakes is part of the National Nature Park "Tuzla Estuaries". Burnas is separated from the Black Sea by a spillway and connected to the latter by a system of canals. The salinity of the water in the estuary is twice as high as in the Black Sea.

Довжина Бурнасу приблизно сім кілометрів, а ширина від одного до трьох км. На півночі лиман з’єднується з озером Солоне, а на південному заході з лиманом Курудіол.

Burnas is about seven kilometers long and one to three kilometers wide. In the north, the estuary connects with Lake Solone, and in the southwest with the Kurudiol estuary.

Курортом ця місцевість стала завдяки лікувальним грязям, якими туристи обмазують всі свої частини тіла, або просто лежать у воді. Того літа рівень води в лимані досить сильно впав і ми ходили по сухому дну.

This area has become a resort due to the therapeutic mud, which tourists cover all their body parts, or just lie in the water. That summer the water level in the estuary dropped quite sharply and we walked on a dry bottom.
