Sensational snails
So I saved a snail from near death yesterday as a car passed by only an inch from him as he/she was on the road.
And I don't see snails as the garden pest that most people do. Infact I don't see any insects as the pests that most people do- except for bloody mozzies and damn flies!
Anyway, so before I got this little guy off the road and out of harms way, I took the opportunity to take a couple of photos of this adorable tiny being with it's amazing construction of it's mobile home with groovy 70's style patterns.

Snails are fun to watch dragging themselves from A to B, fascinating creatures much like you I photograph them and leave them alone.

Except for mozzies and flies. No purpose, except to infuriate people and spread disease.....
Mozzies eat me, bothersome flies arrive to irritate, everything else if free to roam 😄
Yep. Everything else is free to roam- except spiders says my brother as he's just about to spray the (outside) of the house for them.
Except- Spiders eat the flies and the mozzies and if they're outside, in their same home minding their own business, then they should be able to stay!
Mine do in my home...
Snails are a major diet of some Nigerian dishes and you need to come and see how they are produced in large quantity for consumption...

I love all animals- all of Mother Earth' gifts to us so I don't eat them and try my hardest not to harm them in any way, but to protect them instead.

I wish I can be like you, but I can't avoid eating chicken or beef even if I love these animal gift of nature

I worked in the hospitality industry directly with food for over 30yrs and thought I knew a lot about food- until I gave up eating animals and a whole new universe of delicious, cruelty free food opened up to me and I just don't need to eat them- to eat 'meat'.
