SEXUAL ABUSE IN KIDS

The rate of sexual abuse in children has been on the increase lately. Sometimes the kids are so scared to talk to their parents/guardian about it, because the abuser have instilled fear inside them.

Children find it very difficult to report any sexual abuse done against them. A lot of adults have been abused as kids; and this is mostly by people they trusted while growing up. It could be their relatives, teachers, house helps, neighbors etc. There are a lot of ways to preventing sexual abuse in children. Every parents has to be awoke now. Be careful of who you leave your kids with and be sure of the person’s moral standing. Sexual abuse can be in both male and female. Pedophiles don’t even care about the age of the abused, so sex education is important for parents to give both their sons and daughters irrespective of the age, at least at the level they will understand. Also, remember that the male child is equally at risk of being abused just as the female child. Don’t channel your attention only to your female child, protect your male child too.
