TURN THE VIBES ON/ what inspired me to write the song

Recently I took a turn with the way I used to write down songs, I remember some months ago, in one of my posts in this space, I wrote about how it was hard for me to write down songs using instrumentals or beats, it was as a result of the kind of inspiration I got and most times everything about the song i'w write is from inspiration, the progression, the rythm, the melody and the lyrics.

Just of recent, I tried writing songs using instrumentals and beats and to be honest it was cool though because I could easily flow with the beats, but still on that, I don't really think i'w flow with every kind of instrumental, maybe not all but which ever gives me joy I'd definitely learn to flow with it, and also I love to use beats that are in line with the message I'm trying to pass, some lyrics would require slow beats while others would require fast beats.

Yesterday, I wanted to make a post for the #vibes music competition, I wasn't so sure of the instrumental to use because I have a number of instrumental stored in my phone, before even chosing the instrumental, I drafted out the theme of the song I wanted to write, I finally got an instrumental to use so I started drafting out the lyrics, it was a bit hard at the beginning because I was looking for the right wordings to use, guess what I realized?

Lyrics could actually be drafted from life experiences or someone's story, that's why we could get inspired by songs because they were drafted from someone's experience, realizing this made it much easier for me.

If you know about the #vibes music competition, there wasn't any theme that was given so I decided to do something beyond the normal, I felt it would be amazing to write down a song but not just writing a song, a song that relates to the name of the community which is vibes, I chose TURN THE VIBES ON as the title of the song, the moment I got the title, everything else was so easy because I would relate them to the title.

Music keeps the soul moving, we all know that, it won't be a surprising thing to know that most of our actions and decisions were inspired by the kind of songs we listened to, its One of the most effective influential factor in the world today, most likely in different areas and tribes of the world.

The funny that was that I forgot the lyrics I wrote down while I was recording the song 😂, it wasn't so bad but it was funny how I had to start the video all over, I guess I have to be more acquainted so the lyrics before recording it.
