Hive Naija Weekly Prompts || Edition 28 Onboarding New Users to Hive

Many young folks today needs money. But they need quick money. In my first image, which is originally mine. This young boy is an orphan. Being the first child of her parents, he has been complaining to me that he is in need of money. Because of the death of his mother, he couldn't finish up with his secondary School. When i met him, he told me that he rather get married to an old woman who will take care of his financial problems instead of suffering. So, i encouraged him to think about his future and that of his siblings first before marriage.

After telling him all these, his problems still remains money. I told him that i can show him a plartform where he can make some money by creating original content. He eagerly asked me to show him the plartform. So, i discussed with him about Hive and he asked me to help him get registered. With the help of my mentor @fokusnow, he got registered as @hopepascal. After his registration, i helped him set up his account and after that he asked me to show him how to make post which i did

After showing him the basic things he needed to know, he told me that the plartform is good but their method of payment is low. Because i explained to him that it's not a get rich quick plartform. That is only original content Creator's are being rewarded. Though it's not guaranteed. What he said last got me frightened. He said he rather do money ritualist instead waisting time on Hive. That's when i gave up on him. Since August 26th, 2023 that he created his account, nothing has been done there. The lesson i learned so far is that, before helping someone to create an account on Hive, i have to let him know that it's not a get rich quick plartform. I should only focus on those who wants to succeed in a genuine way.

***On Sunday being 7th Of Jenuary 2024, i told a family member about #hive. She was surprised to know that such web3 plartforms exist. It was her first time of hearing about Hive. after all my explanations, she told me that she has been waisting her data on web2 platforms. It's high time she achieve something from it. Yesterday being 9th, she got registered. After her registration, she asked me what's the next thing for her to do. On phone, i told her about threads on inleo.io. she logged in and make her first thread. After that, she sent me a screenshot of her thread and the link. Hahahaha, here is her threads Link and below is the screenshot she sent to me.

Currently she is working on her introductory post. When it comes for preaching hive, their is always a positive and negative response. All we need is time and patience to follow up with those who responded positively until the understand the plartform and how it works. That's my experience so far while preaching hive
