High, Higher, Highest

I'm a sucker for adventure! Yup, truly I am. This involves being up in the sky, going on rides that go up and down, and/or merely gazing out from the top of the mountains. For me, the sense of solitude and tranquillity, along with the view, gives peace and a gloriously calm feeling that goes far beyond.

Then suddenly it made me wonder whether there is a term for those who are not afraid of heights like me. Acrophobia, on the other hand, is the opposite, that I know of. I made a Google search and it says Acromania, however, when I looked up the definition of that word, it was defined as a violent form of mania; incurable insanity.
Oh, really?! 🤷‍♂

That is me parasailing during one of my solo adventures before the pandemic came. It was one of the best unforgettable trips that I ever had. Paragliding will be next, SOON, I hope!

The next one I found from my gallery was from riding the Scary Drop at Jerudong Park Playground. That was my second and third ride, as I rode it twice that day.
Weeeeeeee. I absolutely love being on top of that 50-meter tower, feeling zero gravity as I plummet down!

And here I was, at the top of Bukit Laur, after a 10-kilometer, three-hour hike from Bandar's Tasek Park to Subok. The sense of relief that flowed over my tired body as I reflected on the previous few hours and what I had just accomplished was fantastic. It was a breathtaking moment that I will never forget!
