Since November end, there are many commercial plazas, shopping malls, retails set up the Christmas decoration to bring out the ambience of festival season.
Last weekend I walked to a nearest Town Centre, Ang Mo Kio, I saw there are many staffs and workers busier to set up the Christmas trees and lighting decoration at open plaza, main linkages along the retail shops and shopping malls in town centre.
Just within few days’ time, the Christmas trees and lighting set up are completed and officially light up in the open plaza.

During the peak hours (after working hours), the town centre was getting crowded. The lighting up of Christmas trees decoration with melody of Christmas music bring out the festival season ambience to the streetscape.

Currently Singapore has already achieve 87% full vaccination rate population. The economy is resume back step by step as to control the surge of Covid-19 new cases last few months around 3000 new cases daily. Good news is the latest of new cases already reduce to around 500 daily. It is a good sign means all the safety measures and guidelines to be follow up is works!

The pandemic deeply destroy the business and economy sectors. Many retail shops and business were closing down in the hard time. Government is helping the retail shops and business in rental instalment, and providing Covid-19 recovery grant to support the retail shops to go through the hard time during the economy downturn.

I ordered vege mushroom udon soup with cost SGD6.30. The mushroom soup is very yummy and tasty. It also added some seaweed, broccoli and cherry tomatoes. It is definitely a healthy and delicious choice for my dinner.

He ordered Sambal Chili fried rice with cost SDG5.90. The Sambal chili is not very spicy and the spiciness was still acceptable. The added cucumber slide and lettuce all fresh and matching well with the fried rice.

How wonderful Singapore looks with the addition of this Christmas joy adorning the area. Long gone are the religious only meaning to this season, leaving room for it to be celebrated either way. I think it adds a festive touch to a world that has been wreaking havoc the last few years.

I am so happy to hear that your numbers are going down! The world has lost so many businesses and devastated areas. This post, with its beauty, has lifted my soul. It is so heartwarming to see people milling about and making an effort to get back to normal. You have brought such a lovely post, sharing the beauty as you always do. Dinner is always an interesting and fun time with you. :) I have never seen your dish, but, I can assure you, if I was there, I would be tempted to order the same!

I love the concept of #MarketFriday and how our cultures differ and then again, how much they are alike. Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages. Along with the fact of what is normal for where you live? these are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I had hoped that posting here will familiarize you with the world around you just a little bit more. Viewing it from a more personal level as opposed to the newsworthy level gives me a better understanding of the people and a view that is often not seen on National television.

I appreciate the amazing support given to #MarketFriday! Thank you! Your participation adds a piece to your world, and I have to say, people are interested in seeing it. This entire challenge has opened up the world to me and so many others. Thank you again for being a part of all this! I am so happy to see you here! I hope you have a fabulous day! Hive on!!

Fridays are all about the #MarketFriday Challenge! Looking to take part in it? Here is how:

I put these here for guidance, it doesn't mean you have done anything wrong in your post, but, for someone wanting to know what it is all about, here it is! If you have any questions, contact me in discord dswigle3637 or tag me. If you need help with anything, also feel free to contact me.

Rules of the Road

  1. Go to the market, or anywhere that you pay money for a service.
    Take pictures! Be creative!
  2. Tell us a little bit about the market or the event. What brought you there? What did you buy? How much did it cost?
  3. Post the picture(s) Of course, you should tell a little bit about the ones you post
  4. Use the MarketFriday Community Platform to post #hive-196308 (this is not required, but appreciated)
  5. Drop the link into the MarketFriday comment section so I can find it
  6. Following me and reblogging the post so more see it would be appreciated !! Not a rule, just appreciated, more vision for more views on your posts!
  7. You must put #MarketFriday by @dswigle somewhere on your post. If you don't and someone reads it, there is nothing to tie #MarketFriday to that post.
  8. Please only one post each week. Believe it not, I run out of voting power if you put in many more than that.
  9. Please use good taste in what you post. If you are going to buy liquor and go on a bender, I am pretty sure that nobody wants to hear about it. Regarding the posts, I would like to hear about the post a little. Here is my market and 20 pictures, many of them blurry? I would rather see a few pictures that I can see what it is. This is not a criticism, this is to help you become a better poster. Better posts equal better payouts.

As always, please remember! #MarketFriday loves you!
