Splinterlands Season In Review

Now that the season is over, it is time to do a review of the season that was. As I mentioned in my earlier post, I got a legendary Harklaw, which I already bought previously. Still, only one more needed to level it up to level 2.

This post will look at the earnings front which I felt took a dip.

Earnings

Total earnings for the season was 4,945 DEC which is a little up from previous seasons. The breakdown is as follows:

  • Season Ending Rewards: 74
  • Ranked Battle Rewards: 1,835
  • Quest Rewards: 972
  • Net Rentals: 2,063.4

The difference has been the rentals which I looked at a little more closely this season compared to previous ones. As more cards come on the market, rentals keep softening so it is a race to the bottom. Hopefully, more players come on board to absorb the increased supply.

I personally never explored Splinterlands apart from renting my cards as I'm not into gaming.

Thank you very much! I was skeptical about the game when I first started but it has been a good introduction to NFTs.
