AMC Now Accepting Crypto Payments

I can understand using BTC although I would much rather accumulate it. Using ETH for payments feels odd to me given the transaction fees. Interestingly, they will be adding Doge next according to their CEO:

Unless you're a fan of paying fees on small transactions like booking movie tickets, maybe we should let the CEO know about feeless coins like Hive, Nano or Banano.

I'm not sure what a movie ticket costs in the US but two tickets would cost like $15 USD equivalent here. To then pay a fee on top of that seems silly.

They lumped crypto along with the other tech payment methods like Apple Pay and Google Pay so that 14% is too high a number for just crypto. Nice to see adoption out in the real world!
