A Struggle To Stay In Gold III
After promoting to Gold III, the next challenge is staying in Gold. I got the Dragon Quest today and it is not a quest that I enjoy doing. While I do have a level 3 dragon summoner, 5 mana for an additional magic damage is not the best trade off in low mana battles.
With 4 days to the end of the season, I think I should be able to reach Gold II again. I am not too impacted by the loss of the alpha and beta starter pack cards since I own a couple of them. Would be tough to learn and formulate new strategies on the fly.
And how were the rewards for the struggles? Not the best, I must say. But a potion is pretty welcome as I run them down opening packs. Building up the stockpile for another round of pack openings. Cards haven't been that great of late but at least I picked up a couple of legendary ones.
It was a little bit of a surprise when the alpha and beta cards disappeared from the starter but it does add a fresh new twist to the game seeing the new line-ups and strategies people come up with.
